Buffalo Bills vs New England Patriots
It was another beautiful day in Foxboro, as the 0-1 Buffalo Bills were facing the 0-1 Patriots in a good old AFC East showdown. Pats won the coin toss and again elected to let the Bills receive the ball in the 1st quarter:
1st quarter:
Bills would be all over the field in that 1st quarter, first a FG with 6:09 left would give them a 3-0 lead and after a Maclin fumble, they would advance down the field and Fred Jackson would punch it in to put that score for the first quarter:
Bills 10 Patriots 0
2nd quarter:
Then, Adrian Peterson would begin his great day:
He would then punch it in with a 5-yard run to make it a 10-7 deficit with 6:02 left.
But the Bills would answer back, thanks to James Davis:
that TD run would make that game a 17-7 lead with 3:12 left in the half!
Pats would have a last chance to make points before halftime, but:
That INT would end the half with that score:
Bills 17 Patriots 7

3rd quarter:
AP wasn't one, 3rd quarter just began and here he goes:
That long TD run would put the score at 17-14 for the Bills, with 8:26 left in the quarter.
After stopping the Bills, the Pats would continue their comeback thanks to this play from the backup TE:
It would set up a FG from Gostkowski and after 3 quarters, score is:
Bills 17 Patriots 17

4th quarter:
And then, the madness would begin!
After a Graham FG that would put the Bills up by 3, the Patriots would march down the field and they took the lead thanks to this play:
Shawn Squirek made the superb catch, and the Pats were leading, for the first time, 24-20 with 4:49 left.
But the Bills would answer back with a long drive that ended with a 13-yd TD pass to Mark Clayton on 4th down, making it a 27-24 Bills lead with 1:19 left int he game.
(Sorry, no video of that one!)
Pats were not done though! Adrian Peterson too!
37 seconds left, Pats lead 31-27 and everybody thinks it is all over!
Not really:
Nate Washington would quiet the stadium completely with this TD play with 16 seconds left, and the Bills were leading 34-31 and they thought it was over.
5 seconds left, deep in their zone, no time-outs left, it was the last chance and Bill Belichick called the All Streaks play, including Adrian Peterson. History would be made:
This incredible play would cause an eruption of volcanic proportions in Foxboro, Adrian Peterson sent the fans really happy after that game-winning TD! Final score:
