Philadelphia Eagles vs New England Patriots
It was a beautiful day in Foxboro, as the defending NFC Champs were visiting the Pats. They won the toss and elected to let the Eagles begin the game.
Both teams played well defensively in the 1st quarter so the score stayed null after 9 minutes of play.
2nd quarter:
Eagles finally got themselves on the board, this play led to a 1 yd run by Leron James. It was 3rd and 6 and the Eagles were searching for a spark, and Walsh gave them that:
The TD run by Leron James made it a 7-0 lead for the Eagles with 4:40 left in the 1st half!
The Patriots would answer back in the following drive. Tom Brady found Jeremy Maclin twice in the drive, including this one, to set their offense nicely:
But the Eagles would stop them, forcing a 29 yd FG, making this a 7-3 Eagles lead with 1:51 left in the quarter.
Eagles used a great return and this surprising run to get a 59 yd FG from Price, putting them ahead 10-3 with 50 seconds left in the half:
And then, that play happened:
That Pick-6 by Webb would prove to be very huge and after 18 minutes of play, it was 17-3 in favour of the Eagles.

3rd quarter:
For the Patriots, the Pick-6 at the end of the 1st half would gave them a confidence killer. It would continue in their 1st drive of the 3rd:
Bunkley got the Pick-6 and it was now 24-3 Eagles with 7:59 left in the 3rd!
And it just got worse from there:
That fumble by Percy Harvin would cost the Pats a FG and it was 27-3 Eagles with 5:56 left in the 3rd!
It would be cruise control for the Eagles, who only added a FG in the 4th quarter and allowed nothing from the Patriots to make this final score:
Philadelphia Eagles (1-0) 30 New England Patriots (0-1) 3

Desean Jackson WR: 4 catches for 57 yds Justyn Price K: 3/3 FG, longest FG: 59 yds Lardarius Webb CB/Brodrick Bunkley DT: Pick-6
