Sorry guys for having done nothing since my initial post in week 1, life has been hell with a computer who is not working. I am from my father's room and since I have some time left right now before I play my next game (week 9 bye), I will do a 2-part blog on how the league is after the first half. I will begin with the AFC and I will divide it into the 4 divisions.
AFC East:
That division is still wide open. After the departure of Coach Superman, the Dolphins got Coach Philreny, but we aren't sure of the future of this coach too, which gives a chance to both the Bills and Jets to stay in the race. Patriots still suck at 1-7, even with the addition of Chris Johnson. They need to improve on the D, they scored the most points out of any AFC East squad, but they also allowed the most and that is not good.
Prediction: 1. Jets (P) 2. Dolphins 3. Bills 4. Patriots
AFC North:
Ravens began the season so well, but now at 4-3, thay are actually 3rd in the conference, behind the surprising Bengals and the defending AFC champs, the Steelers, who aren't fazed by the loss of CJ2K. Browns saw their coach get suspended indefinitely by the league for extreme cheesing and they will finish last. An intriguing battle for sure will happen in the 2nd half.
Prediction: 1. Steelers (P) 2. Bengals (P) 3. Ravens 4. Browns
AFC South
Jaguars won an inportant division battle against Texans and they are the only undefeated in the AFC. Watch out for the rematch of last year's AFC championship game in week 16 against Steelers. Texans need to find some running game going if they want to stand a chance in the playoffs. Colts will battle it out for the 6th playoff spot while the Titans will go back to their awful self.
Prediction: 1. Jaguars (P) 2. Texans (P) 3. Colts 4. Titans
AFC West:
With the Broncos hitting an unexplicable slump, this division will be between Chiefs and Chargers, but the schedules are pointing to a San Diego title at the end. Broncos will win some, but they are out, like the Raiders.
Prediction: 1. Chargers (P) 2. Chiefs 3. Broncos 4. Raiders
NFC East:
The Eagles are once again leading the division, their only loss being to the defending NFC champs, and I do think they will get their 4th straight division crown. For the rest, I think it will be home time when the playoffs will come around.
Prediction: 1. Eagles (P) 2. Giants 3. Cowboys 4. Redskins
NFC North:
It is a really wide open race, as the Lions, Packers and Vikings have a realistic shot. Bears did upset Seahawks, but they still won't be in the playoffs.
Prediction: 1. Lions (P) 2. Vikings 3. Packers 4. Bears
NFC South:
A 2-way battle is going on, can Adrian Peterson stop the Panthers? Don't think so. Saints and Bucs need to prepare for M11 already.
Prediction: 1. Panthers (P) 2. Falcons (P) 3. Bucs 4. Saints
NFC West:
Best division in the league, 3 teams battling it out for 2 playoff spots (or even 3 depending of the other divisions) but who goes out on top? Will the Cards finish the season undefeated? Rams have lost their coach so their season is over.
Prediction: 1. Cards (P) 2. 49ers (P) 3. Seahawks 4. Rams
