49ers at a 2-0 start after defeating the Jets 41-10!
*I'll post screenshot later*
49ers are off to a good start after defeating 2 AFC East teams back to back, the 49ers are playing like a team with something to prove. The victory did come at a price however as rookie sensation, HB Jelani Okoye went down early in the 3rd quarter and will miss the 49ers next 2 games. How will this effect the 49ers going into 2 tough games against 2 of the best teams in the league? We shall find out soon enough.
Press Release with coach Majestic
Reporter: With 2 early wins in the bag the 49ers look poised to make a run this season, how does this victory compare to the 1st?
Majestic: Well it feels pretty much the same, just lets me know we are heading in the right direction, gives us more credibility, we just need to keep playing tough.
Reporter: Speaking of playing tough, your offense was poised to revolve around the strong running game and rookie Jelani Okoye, how will his injury effect the team?
Majestic: I won't try to downplay this at all, Okoye was a major part of our offense and his injury is significant, but our team was prepared for this and we can win without him. Dion Miller has done great in his backups roll so we expect him to do well, we also signed free agent DJ Claytor and hope he can make some kind of impact. Other then that we have a great offensive threats lead by Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson Jr. and Vernon Davis. We will be fine.
Reporter: Okoye was having a great game before he went out, who would you say made the most impact?
Majestic: Well obviously in limited play Jelani Okoye, he had 16 carries for 96 yards and a TD and was set to surpass his game 1 stat line. Vernon Davis had a big game with 5 receptions for 85 yards and 2 TDs. On Defense FS Brock Williams had 3 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery. OLB/DE Trevor Scott continues to do well with 6 tackles and 4 sacks.
Reporter: Your next game is probably the most significant, not only are the Phins the best team in the AFC East but many believe them to be top 5 in the league. Add that to the fact that there has been a lot of trash talk going back and forth and you get one of the biggest games of your season, how do you see this playing out, what do you expect to see from them, and what can we expect from the 49ers?
Majestic: Well first I'll address the trash talking, Phins is one of those teams who would like to look at their trophy from 2 years ago and imagine that they are still the best team in the league. They remind me of the UFCs Chuck Liddell, just hang up the controller kid your done. Me being one of the new guys I expect the talk, and in order to gain more credibility I just have to keep knocking down these "elite" guys, the Phins will just be another step to the top. Now I expect the Phins to try and abuse my "weak defense" so I am gonna have to stick to our defensive philosophy and make them 1 dimensional by shutting down their run game. We also have to keep Tony Romo guessing and force him into mistakes. I expect the Phins to focus on our passing game since they don't believe our runnin gam to be a threat without Okoye, but we have some things up our sleaves to keep them guessing. I think they are a little over confident in their defense and downplay our offense but we have weapons that their defense just cannot keep up with. I expect to make an example out of the Phins and win big.
Reporter: Care to give us a ballpark prediction?
Majestic: You can read it on Claxxxtons page under Juan's Final say in a day or 2. Thats all the time I have for today, see you guys later.
